"Cuéntame cómo pasó" - "Tell me how it happened"

"Tell me how it happened" reviews recent Spanish history -from the late 1960s to the early 1980s- from the Alcantara family. The story is told from the now mature perspective of Carlos, the youngest son of the family, who evokes in a humorous tone decades of transformation.

"Tell me how it happened" is the human and daily chronicle of Spain's immediate past, which seeks to portray the collective memory of a country. The cast is headed by Imanol Arias and Ana Duato, who bring the Alcántara couple to life, and the Sevillian actress María Galiana, winner of the Goya for best actress in the film "Solas", who plays the family's grandmother.

From the beginning of its career, in 2001, "Cuétame como pasó" achieved high ratings that made history in the prime time of TVE and made it one of the star spaces of the public channel. In addition, the series received the 2002 Ondas International Television Award "for its contribution to a better understanding of recent history".
